Not everyone will choose to fundraise when they join Kensal Tri.
But it's surprisingly fun and easy to raise £100 or more - even if you can't make stupendous videos like the Poole family above - and we aim to support as many local charities as we can.
In 2021 our amazing fundraisers totalled £134,000 for 25 local charities and we raised a further £80,000 in 2022.
Below are the charities supported so far (we can add to this!).
Simply choose a charity and let us know which event. You then have the choice of either helping them by paying all your entrance fee or, if you need help with that, many of the below will help discount places by covering some of the costs themselves.

Ark Franklin is looking to refresh and reinvigorate their outdoor spaces with a replacement and redevelopment of the climbing equipment.
We're looking to replace for all of our four playgrounds for Nursery, Reception, KS1 and KS2.

Nasreen fundraised last year for Ark Brunel to support the school library, raising over £1,000.
She was thrilled, not only to raise the money but to have found a new love for cycling.
We don't have a fundraiser for the school this year but her story is an inspiring one and she now is also improving her swimming with us. We'd love anyone to come forward to fundraise at one of our other Tri events this year. Or you can donate to the school at www.arkbrunelprimary.org/
The Avenues Tri Team is raising funds for its wide range of programmes to help children and young people in north Westminster.
Pictured here is Damion who's raising funds this year by doing Super Sprint at Blenheim and is raising also in honour of his late father.

Could teenage mental health ever be more important than now? BCYP is based on Winchester Ave, offering adolescents a unique space to reflect on their experiences with highly qualified therapists.
It's the leading mental health charity for young people in NW London, helping 600 young people annually.
This year's team is Talia, Savanna, Robert (Relay), Cathy & Joe (Sprint).

Brent Foodbank is based in Neasden and has been helping hundreds of people in Brent since 2011.
Their foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks throughout the UK.
They work closely with local support agencies, churches and community groups towards stopping hunger in our local area.
They have Simon fundraising for them this year, training hard for Blenheim and the link to sponsor him will be posted here.
The library reopened last year and is looking wonderful with dozens of community groups also using it, ranging from pilates to chess, and an excellent cafe.
Wendy says: "It was a 20 year struggle to open and now we need to keep this library and community hub running with no government money available".
Wendy, Helen, Aimee, Lewis and Kulwinder have joined this year's team!
Elders Voice is a charity in the heart of Kensal Green which has been working with and for older people since 1993.
They provide practical and social opportunities to people ranging in age from 55 years upwards, and our services are as varied as the people who use them.
Jon, Elders' CEO, has formed a formidable Relay team with Lawrence and Graziella. With resident support from Mike and Caitriona.
'GIFT YOUR NEIGHBOUR'
GYN delivers donated food to 250 local people every Monday on a 'no questions asked' basis.
The 20 or volunteers work with several local schools & charities.
This team is partnered with Granville Community Kitchen this year for the Tri and 100% of donations to Tara, Caroline, James and Andrew will be spent on emergency food for people that are struggling.

GCK is a remarkable community led food project which empowers our community through food, guided by principles of equity, justice, respect and dignity.
Leslie Barham (pictured left) and Dee ensure they offer a safe space open to all and provide food aid to anyone that needs it, without vouchers or having to go through an intrusive referral process.
This year the team is partnered with 'Gift Your Neighbour' - see below or click here to donate.

The Dalgarno Trust in Ladbroke Grove aims to bring adults and children together of all ages from diverse and disadvantaged background to help fulfill their potential.

Leigh has joined the Sprint team to raise £££s for our wonderful community library on Bathurst Gardens in Kensal Green.
The library was supported by last year's Tri to help with a very unexpected and challenging repairs bill and needs £100 a day to be able to operate.
Leigh works for Daniels Estate Agents on Chamberlayne Rd, which is a long-term supporter for the Library's. His fundraising page is here.
Amanda has never done Tri before but she's determined to help keep our much-loved community nursery going.
Margaret Bailey says "we're very proud of Amanda and would love all the support you can show us as we fight to keep our nursery open for residents".
Laurence's Larder on Christchurch Ave provides a warm welcome and
hot food for those struggling
to make ends meet.

The Lexi has neatly teamed up with Salusbury World so this 'Lexi Tri Fund' will boost its community programmes in support of vulnerable people in the area.
The Lexi already donates 100% of its distributable profits to The Sustainability Institute in South Africa.
The Lexi has FOUR Relay teams which include owner Sally,Teresa, Advia, Russell, Dave, Bittu and Cathy, Bittu, Anita and Sean.
Sporty Malorees is taking a small team to Blenheim this year having taken 49 teachers and parents in Sept!
PE Head Mike is leading a team of Katie, Jamie, Nick, Alice, Tyra, Giles with fundraising being led by formidable 6-year old Eoin!

Princess Freds has really embraced the Triathlon spirit with a giant team of 30 signing up for Blenheim this May.
These include teachers Anna Mulry, other staff, parents and William IV landlord Jean, who is kindly sponsoring the team to raise funds for their hall renovation.
Super Head Jude Enright has formed a Relay Team with Dan (cyclist) and Caroline (runner).

For the past five years the QPG team have run a free breakfast and afer-school club in partnership with local community all towards a happier healthier community.
REUK is the renamed Harlesden-HQ'd 'Refugee Support Network'. Through a combination of regular mentoring, wellbeing support, leadership opportunities and higher education advice, young refugees from over 45 countries are encouraged to rebuild their lives here with hope and optimism.

New entrants to this Tri malarkey are St Agnes Primary School in Cricklewood.
Led by Queens Park Harrier marathon runner Anastasia, Peter R, Peter M, Bernadett, Lelia and Monica have been persuaded to swim, bike and run round Blenheim to raise funds for essential school equipment.
David Lloyd Cricklewood have been so impressed, they've given free passes to the team to help them get fit (and recover!).
Salusbury World does brilliant work across northwest London with refugee and migrant families helping children, young people and parents to realise their rights and potential.

The Sufra Community Hub provides a life-line for people in crisis – including families living in extreme poverty and people who are vulnerable, homeless and socially isolated.
Sonal has formed a Relay team and Manish, Neel, Gabby (pictured) and Dan will be Sprinting to support their cause.
They are joined by partner 9Kitchens (see below).
Willesden Mutual Aid Foodbank operates as a food hub and distribution centre, providing emergency food aid and other essentials to households and individuals across Brent.
Katy, Kate and Clare (l-r in the photo) formed a Blenheim Relay Team last year but we lost this year's fundraise person to injury. Please get in contact if you'd like to do Blenheim this year or another sporting event to help the Foodbank.

PROMISE FOUNDATION
The Promise Foundation does fantastic mentoring work, including at QPCS.
Simon Marks, CEO, is keen to hear from anyone who would like to fundraise for them at Blenheim or any future events.
Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre provides riding and equine therapy for children, specialising in those with special needs and physical disabilities.
They're not represented currently at the Tri this year (pictured is Lex from 2021) but we've left this in as the cause is one we'd like people to know about and to donate to if they can.

The 9Kitchens project is a social enterprise providing not just delicious plant-based lunches and dinners but does so while providing vulnerable women in North West London with work one day a week (as a beginning).
The pic here is their fantastic kitchen team and they will be represented at Blenheim by Kieumy, Christophe, Jessica, Rich, Laurent, Julie, Jonathan, Mercy.
