The beautiful lake at Denham is just 25 mins away from Kensal Rise on the A40.
It's open most mornings from April through to October and also two evenings.

The beautiful lake at Denham (just 25 mins away from Kensal Rise on the A40) is a very popular choice both before and after the Tri to enjoy an open-water swim followed by a bacon butty and/or cup of tea in the club house after!

Alex Walker and his expert Great Escape Sport team offer private, small or group lessons, including for Kensal Tri to cater for all levels - those that want to hone their technique or become used to the open-water.

You can rent a wetsuit from the Denham clubhouse if you don't have one for around £5. It's not compulsory to wear a wetsuit but you must wear a swim-hat.

Denham has an excellent club house and facilities for changing - or to grab a cup of tea or snack afterwards!
