Fundraising

#forthegoodofthehood

Kilburn Times 2023

Kensal Tri is primarily about connecting community through fun activities.

You are not expected to fundraise and many team members don't (or can't as they have done fundraising before).

But it's also the case that Triathlon is a very good fundraiser - friends, family, work colleagues respect the effort you make to go outside of your comfort zone.

And even if you are "just" doing one Relay leg our experience is friends give generously for that too!.

The bigger the challenge is for you personally the more likely you are to raise funds. Lycra-clad uber-fit folk struggle to fundraise as the event is no longer much of a challenge (and maybe they have fundraised a lot in the past).

ANY AMOUNT is fine: if we can take 200 people to Blenheim that raise just £10 each we will have raised £2,000 to support people and services in our community. And you will have helped the profile of  the great local cause also.

We can also discuss free or discounted entry into events if you would like to fundraise.

Our network has raised over £300,000 over the past five years for the following great local causes.
